Teaching at REWILD is about more than knowing poses or delivering a sequence. It is about the connection you create, the sincerity you bring, and your commitment to the people practicing with you. Our studio is intentionally raw and natural—a place where perfection is not the point. We want teachers who embody that spirit, bring themselves honestly to the room, and care about the community they are helping build. Knowledge and experience matter, but they do not replace genuine connection.
Ways Into Teaching
PREWILD — For graduates of REWILD YOGA’s 200-hour teacher training who want to begin teaching at the studio. If you have completed BE BAD and are ready to take the next step, PREWILD is the pathway into that process. It is a place to move from completing your training toward becoming a teacher within the REWILD community.
BE BAD — For people who want to teach and have not yet earned a 200-hour teaching certificate. REWILD’s BE BAD program is where you begin your training. If teaching is something you feel drawn toward, this is your starting point for exploring that commitment and earning your certification.
External Teachers — For teachers who completed a 200-hour training outside REWILD. Start by spending time in the studio, taking classes, and getting to know the community. Share your interest with our teachers, especially owner and teacher Steve Kocsis. Baptiste or power-yoga experience is a plus, but we welcome different backgrounds and styles. We want to understand who you are and the connection you could bring to REWILD, not just where you trained.
What REWILD Values
We care about what the practice makes possible for people, not just what a pose looks like. Bring sincerity, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to showing up for others. Listen carefully, communicate directly, and stay open to feedback. We are looking for people who want to grow with a community rather than simply step into a room, teach a class, and leave. Your presence and the relationships you build are part of your teaching.
